Launch your coin. Choose your pair. Everything you need to launch on Pump.fun paired with any Solana asset — from memes to tokenized stocks.
The simple idea
Link starts with a simple idea: the asset beside a new coin should be a choice its creator can make.
A community might already hold a meme, use a stablecoin, or follow a tokenized stock. We want creators to be able to build a new coin's market around that existing asset — to launch into a pair that means something to the people it is for.
That is why we built Link around Pump.fun: official Pump.fun token creation, a pairing asset chosen by the creator, and a launch flow that keeps the original bonding curve and graduation rules intact.
The objective is for that chosen pair to give a new coin a market with a story — one its community already understands.
Why build around Pump.fun?
Launching an independent launchpad would mean asking creators and traders to adopt another token-creation system, another launch process and another ecosystem.
We believe Pump.fun already has the community and launch infrastructure worth building around. Our goal is to give that ecosystem more choice over the asset a new coin trades against.
Link has its own interface, but it uses the official Pump.fun program to create the coin. The original Pump.fun market, bonding curve and graduation process remain exactly as they are. Link adds the creator's pairing choice around that launch.
This keeps the responsibilities clear. Pump.fun provides its launch infrastructure and original market. Link coordinates the launch and the pairing selection.
Building around Pump.fun does not imply an endorsement or partnership, and it does not remove dependencies on Pump.fun's program and settlement process.
The limitation we designed around
Pump.fun does not let an arbitrary caller choose any token as its native launch quote asset.
Its launch program uses approved pairing assets and configured quote economics. Approval is controlled by Pump.fun. A different website cannot make an unapproved token acceptable to that program.
That mattered because our goal was broader choice without requiring Pump.fun to approve each asset individually for its official launch flow.
The solution is two markets for the same coin.
Your coin launches through Pump.fun using the official SOL path. For a non SOL selection, Link also creates a separate pool between the new coin and the chosen compatible asset. The original curve and graduation process keep their original pairing.
For example, a coin called DOG can have its official DOG/SOL market and an additional DOG/USELESS pool. Both refer to the same DOG token. Link does not create a second copy of the coin.
What choosing a pair means
The creator chooses a token on Solana as the other asset in the launch. That can include memes, stablecoins and supported tokenized stocks.
Compatibility matters. A token being visible in search does not guarantee it is approved as a Pump.fun pairing asset — unapproved selections launch with SOL instead, and the launch flow tells you when that happens.
The choice is also about an on-chain token. Pairing against a tokenized stock does not mean the market holds an off-chain brokerage share directly.
Pairing describes the trading relationship. It does not mean your coin is backed by the paired asset, tracks its price, or can be redeemed for it. And it does not guarantee demand, a price increase or trading volume for either asset.
What happens when you launch
Choose your asset
Select the asset you want to pair your coin with — pick from the list or paste any Solana mint address. Link looks up its name, ticker and logo automatically, and checks it against Pump.fun's approved pairing registry.
Create your coin
Define your coin's identity: artwork, name, ticker, and optionally a description plus website, X and Telegram links. Build around an idea, a community, or a theme that makes sense for your chosen pair.
Review your launch
Check your token details and selected asset before submitting, and review any launch costs, trading fees, and market settings shown in the launch flow.
Launch your market
Sign in your wallet to create your coin on Solana. The transaction is built through Pump.fun's official program — once it confirms, your coin is live with its bonding curve and graduation rules intact.
Share your launch
Introduce your coin, explain the idea, and make the selected pair clear to your community. Your launch page shows the contract address ready to copy and share.
If a required step fails, the transaction reverts rather than leaving a partially completed launch. Link never holds your funds, your keys, or your coin's supply — everything settles directly from your wallet.
Memecoin pairs
Memecoin pairs let creators build markets around assets rooted in internet culture and existing communities — BONK, WIF, Fartcoin, TRUMP, PENGU and more.
Any meme on Solana can be chosen. Search by name, ticker, or mint address in the launch flow. If a specific meme isn't yet approved by Pump.fun as a pairing asset, Link launches your coin with a SOL pair instead — so your launch always goes through while keeping the pairing spirit you chose.
Your coin has its own identity. The selected memecoin serves as its trading counterpart, keeping the two tokens distinct.
Tokenized stock pairs
Tokenized stock pairs bring onchain stock tokens into the launch experience — NVDAX, TSLAX, SPYX, APPLX, HOODX and more.
Creators can build concepts around companies, sectors, and broader market themes, using a supported tokenized stock as the paired asset.
The tokenized stock remains a separate product governed by its issuer's terms. Launching a coin paired with it does not give holders of the new coin ownership in the underlying company.
The initial buy
You can buy some of your own coin the moment it launches. Enter an exact amount of the paired asset (for example 0.5 SOL), and Link builds it into the launch flow.
- Leave it blank for a plain launch with no purchase.
- With a non-SOL pair, your wallet may ask for two approvals — one to create the coin, one for the buy — because Solana limits transaction size.
- A small buffer (up to 1%) covers price movement between building and signing, plus network fees.
The purchase follows the market's pricing at the moment you sign. The interface shows an estimate before signing, and execution remains subject to current terms.
Wallets & network
Link works with Solana browser wallets such as Phantom. Click Connect wallet in the top bar to link yours. All launches happen on Solana mainnet — real assets, real coins.
Network access runs through a dedicated Solana connection so launches stay reliable even when many people launch at once.
The Launches page
Every coin launched through Link is listed on the Launches page once its transaction confirms on Solana. Each entry shows the coin's logo, name, ticker, pair, live market cap (refreshed every 30 seconds), contract address, and any website, X or Telegram links the creator added.
Entries are only recorded after on-chain verification, so the list can't be spammed with fake launches.
FAQ
Is Link built on Solana?
Yes. Link focuses on launching paired coin markets on Solana mainnet, created through Pump.fun's official program.
Can I pair with any meme?
Yes — any meme on Solana can be chosen. Search by name, ticker, or paste its mint address. Memes Pump.fun hasn't approved as a pairing asset yet simply launch with SOL instead, so your coin still goes live.
Does my coin follow the paired asset's price?
A trading pair alone does not guarantee that your coin follows the paired asset's price. The pair defines the market, not a peg.
Is my coin backed by the asset I choose?
No. Pairing alone does not establish backing, price tracking, or redemption rights.
What does a launch cost?
Review the costs displayed in the launch flow before confirming — network fees plus any initial buy amount you set.
Can I use an asset that isn't listed?
Yes. Paste any Solana mint address in the launch flow. If it isn't approved as a pair yet, your coin launches paired with SOL instead.
The broader thesis
We want new launches to strengthen the ecosystem around them.
A community can launch a coin connected to an asset it already uses. Pump.fun continues to provide the official launch foundation, and the creator's pairing choice gives the new market a story its community already understands.
That is the role we want Link to play on Solana: making more assets useful as the other side of a new market, while bringing more communities into the Pump.fun ecosystem.
One platform. More assets. More ways to launch.
